I finally saw moulin rouge... and man.. that movie kicks ass!
Why didn't anyone tell me it was this good!
It has everything, singing, dancing, great visual effects, a story that's being told inside itself (meta-story, 'n stuff) and a sniff of terry gilliam-like surreality.
A must see

Havent seen it, it doesnt really interest me. I have seen a thousand and one previews and it never grabbed me. I dunno, I just didn't care to see it. What the hell is about anyway? OH GREAT, now you people are gonna make me wanna see the damn thing. [img]graemlins/grrr.gif[/img]
Well I absolutely loved this movie.... but its not for everyone.... something tells Genie....this one just may not appeal to you..... Its definately a musical.... with a twist..... Baz Luhrman is known for well... being kinda out there.... Well bottom line...your either gonna LOVE this movie...or just HATE it....
how about the part where they do their rendition of Roxanne by the Police!!!

well i liked it, but i didn't psychotically love it like some of my friends did. it's worth seeing.
It's a definite must-see yeah.
But it's not as if i'm going to build a shrine for it in my room now. There's not enough room because kubrick is already taking most of my space.
